The Ross Auditorium at Brentwood High School was filled with students being honored for a high achievement in the studying of world languages on the evening of Jan. 19.

Just under one hundred students were inducted into three separate honor societies for studying and mastering a world language in their time as students at BHS. The students were inducted into the French Honor Society, Italian Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society, respectively.

The night featured the recitation of the pledge to the societies in their respective languages, as well as commentary from outgoing officers of each group and the presentation of certificates of merit.
